Well with my show season finished for 2013, I have had time to work on a couple of new patterns. Both of them use the small Whirlwind Whiz to make the triangle pairs with ease. They are easy enough that you can wipe them up in time for the holidays. The first one is called “Snowflake Star”. It is a 20″ square quilt that can be used as a table topper or wall hanging. I used the same block to make a 19″ x 43″ table runner. That pattern is called “Starry Night Table Runner” . Click on the title to see that pattern!
With all the wintery weather we have been having I chose to use snowflake material as the featured fabric. I have made up some kits which include the snowflake, blue and white material you would need for the quilt tops and binding. Just add the batting and backing.
We made it to Paducah and we are excited to be in the quilt capital of the world. Our first day yesterday was great and we are looking forward to the rest of the show. If you are coming to Paducah, be sure to come in and see us at booth 6204 in the Finkel building at 200 Kentucky Ave.
We are on our way to Cincinnati for the International Quilt Festival show. We will be demonstrating the Whirlwind Whiz all day during the show. If you are going to the show, stop in at Booth 1014 and say hello! We will show you how you can save tons of time on your next quilt with the Whirlwind Whiz tools.
This week we are in Lancaster PA for one of the best shows of the year. If you are in the area, stop in and visit. We are in Booth 3309. The show hours are form 9-6 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 9-5 on Saturday. Hope to see you there.
